Holidays Without Him

All four of us think about Charlie everyday.  Some of us think about him pretty much ALL day.  But holidays are especially hard.  We already feel like he is part of our family, but he is not here to celebrate and make memories with us. 

I am certain that the wonderful people at Bethel made Christmas special for all of the kids there, but we were so sad to hear recently that our Christmas package never made it to him.  They think it may still get there, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I did make one more after-Christmas purchase before we took our decorations down, though.  And it did make me feel better...
