The Hits Just Keep Coming

Well, we finally got Travel Approval on Day 22 of our wait.  We were excited when we thought that meant we would still be able to travel next week.  Then we were told that our son's province requires 2 weeks from TA to Gotcha Day.  It would've been nice to know that before we all got our hopes up. But at least now we have date.  Our Consulate Appointment will be July 15.  So we will fly to Beijing on Wednesday July 1, meet Charlie at Bethel on Friday July 3rd, then return home on Saturday July 18. I am very disappointed.  I am sure one day I will see the reason behind all of these delays, but right now I just don't get it.  Hopefully my next post will be a little more enthusiastic.
