We are off! Catching an 11:00am flight to Seattle and after a 2.5 hr layover will cross the sea to China! Our total travel time from our home to Beijing will be about 24 hours to our bodies, but 36 on the clock. We will arrive at 7:30pm on Thursday, China time, which will be 7:30am to us. I think we'll go straight to bed!
Please pray for our journey. That things would go smoothly, that our kids will behave, and that no one gets sick. Also pray for Charlie's heart. He is excited, but probably very scared too. He is about to leave the only home he has known for the past 5 years, and the people who have loved him so well.
We would love to hear from you while in China! Emails, FB messages and blog comments should all get to us. We may not have a chance to respond to them all, but I remember when we adopted Kate how much we enjoyed hearing that people were thinking of us and praying for us in The States!
